For many of us, Leather/SM/Fetish is more than what we do behind closed doors. It is an identity and a way of life in which we take pride. It gives us an affiliation that cuts across the lines of gender, race, sexual orientation, class, and political ideology. It places us in a community of folks who collectively agree on nothing, but the right to explore sexuality in safe, sane, and consensual ways.

But although there has been various listings of our clubs, organizations, and resources, there has never been a listing of *us*. The Leather White Pages includes the GDI (God Damned Independent) in St. Louis, the Backpatch Club member in Atlanta, the political organizer in Washington DC, and the Leather Organization member in Seattle. Groups and organizations are encouraged to invite ALL their members to become listed, and each listing has a place for his/her organizational affiliations. But the focus of this resource is the vast number of diverse *individuals* that make up our community.

Although we're calling this "Leather White Pages" it is a listing of all who enjoy or explore kink, BDSM, rough sex, leathersex, radical sex, fetish, modern primitive, roleplay, dom/sub, master/slave, S&M, raunch & slease, bears, daddy/boys, fisting, genderf*ck, leather, latex, etc.

So stand up and be counted. Give us as much information as you feel comfortable putting in the public arena. You may be Jane Brown from Milwaukee who values privacy and can only list your name and city. You may be Susan Green from Memphis who is a grassroots organizer and wants to publically list *all* your information to be accessible as a resource to the community. Both are valuable and important to include in this project.
