DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL

Contrary to rumor, the Holiday Inn does NOT have a shuttle service. However, people arriving at local airports can secure the services of companies like Bay Shuttle, etc., at a cost of about $12 per person.

For driving:

From the East Bay/Sacramento area: Take Interstate 80 over the Bay Bridge. Take the Fremont Street exit. Continue north on Fremont Street, whereupon you will cross Market Street. Turn left on Pine Street. Follow Pine Street for approximately 15 blocks to Van Ness Avenue and turn right. The hotel will be on your right.

From S.F. International Airport and points south on the peninsula: Take US 101 north to San Francisco. At the I-80/101 split, continue north on 101 to the Mission/Fell Street exit. Take the Mission Street/101 North exit. Turn right at the exit and proceed for 1 block to the first light (Van Ness Avenue). Proceed to the left onto Van Ness Avenue. Stay on Van Ness Avenue all the way up to Pine Street. The hotel will be on your right.

From Marin County and points north of San Francisco: Take US 101 south over the Golden Gate Bridge. Take Lombard Street/Downtown exit and continue east on Lombard Street. Cross Van Ness Avenue and turn right at the next block (Polk Street). Proceed for about 8 blocks south on Polk Street. Turn right on Pine Street and proceed for one block to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on Van Ness Avenue. The hotel will be on your right.
